Kelly Engleka

VP, Search Operations

Kelly Engleka is a seasoned executive search leader with two decades of experience building, refining, and leading high-impact search engagements across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, aviation & aerospace, semiconductor and advanced technology, PE & JV, financial services, nonprofit, and sports & entertainment.

Kelly’s career at Harvard Group International is a true “grown-up-in-the-business” story. She joined the firm in 2005 as Executive Administrator to the CEO, gaining early, behind-the-scenes exposure to the mechanics of executive search, client relationships, and firm operations. From there, she moved into research, then recruiting—developing a deep, hands-on understanding of how exceptional talent is identified, assessed, and successfully placed. Over time, she became instrumental in rebuilding and refining the firm’s recruitment methodology, helping to professionalize processes, elevate candidate experience, and ensure consistency and quality across searches.

As her career progressed, Kelly took on increasing leadership responsibility—hiring and developing teams in both the Atlanta and Scottsdale offices, serving as a cultural anchor during periods of growth and change, and acting as a trusted internal partner to Managing Directors and clients alike. In the post-COVID environment, her role evolved further into a true business development capacity, where she now partners directly with senior executives and boards while continuing to lend strategic and operational expertise across the firm.

Today, as Vice President of Search Operations, Kelly operates at the intersection of client partnership, business development, and execution. She is deeply relationship-oriented and known for a white-glove, highly consultative approach—one that balances speed and precision with thoughtfulness, discretion, and care. She is particularly skilled at navigating complex, confidential searches where culture, leadership style, and long-term fit matter just as much as technical capability.

Passionate, resilient, and tenacious by nature, Kelly brings both empathy and rigor to her work. She understands that successful searches are not transactional—they are transformational. Her commitment is to deeply understand each client’s business, leadership dynamics, and culture, and to deliver talent that not only meets the requirements on paper but strengthens the organization in practice.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (magna cum laude) with dual minors in Religion and Music from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Outside of work, she is an accomplished athlete with a passion for international travel.
