Jeff McMahon is Managing Partner of Harvard Group International and has helped grow the organization dramatically by advising and working with corporate managers to help achieve personal and professional career goals. Many board members, CEOs, executives and managers at all levels and functions rely on McMahon and the HGI team to consistently deliver successful results that so many other search firms are failing to provide.
Jeff has research, recruiting, sales, marketing, business development, and general management experience at many levels within a variety of Executive Search environments. Since 1984, he has been trained by the top executive search consultants in the industry and puts his vast experience to work by producing some of the top managers and executives for clients both domestically and internationally. Prior to his experience with HGI, he was a Senior Consultant with Hartsfield Capital Group, responsible for research and recruiting at a variety of management levels and individual functions, as well as various industries.
Early in his career, Jeff spent many years in corporate aviation and the aircraft charter business including roles in Aircraft Acquisition and Sales, Flight Officer, Flight Instructor and Check Pilot, Operations and General Management.
Jeff graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. He also studied and graduated with honors and recommendations from FlightSafety Academy’s Professional Pilot Certification Program with an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, Commercial Pilot Certificate, Certified Flight Instructor-Single-Engine, Multi-Engine and Instrument Certificates, plus Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor certificates. He started flying in 1987 and to date has logged over 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command in over 50 different aircraft from single and multi-engine to aerobatic, turboprop and jet aircraft.
Jeff resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoys flying, studying aviation, reading, and new and classic automobiles.
