ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Transformation to redefine finance & operations across the organization by challenging the status quo and driving operational improvements through innovative initiatives. This leader, reporting directly to the CEO, will collaborate with stakeholders to proactively identify potential gaps, spearhead key projects, ensure operational capacities, forecast future expansion, and scale for adaptability to evolving market demands. The role focuses on developing new capabilities to foster enterprise-wide responsiveness, while also playing a critical part in integrating acquired businesses to ensure smooth transitions and sustained operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a broad critical thinker and confident self-starter – a working leader – with the ability to assess the company’s landscape, proactively anticipating and acting on business needs as they arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and optimize processes.
- Manage key inventory transformations: Establish formal scrapping processes, oversee asset tagging, and coordinate purchase order issuance for smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize impactful projects.
- Leverage financial expertise to align transformation efforts with financial goals.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate communication with private equity to accelerate decision-making and support operational improvements.
- Manage acquisition integration, ensuring seamless transitions and synergy realization.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of transformation projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of experience in senior leadership or in a consultative capacity with hands on knowledge of the Aviation / Aerospace industry.
- Strong background in operational efficiencies, with experience supporting transformation, forecasting, analysis and financial initiatives.
- Proven track record in project management and demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders through large scale initiatives.
- Experience with private equity and M&A, including integration of acquired businesses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, BI and project management tools.
