The Senior Director of HR Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for elevating the associate experience and driving operational excellence across a large, people-intensive organization. This role oversees all HR systems, programs, and delivery models to ensure effectiveness, consistency, and innovation across multiple business lines. Reporting to the Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, with a dotted-line to the President, this leader shapes workforce strategy, builds high-performing teams, and ensures HR operations align with business goals and cultural values of putting people first, leading by example, and continuously improving.

Primary Areas of Accountability: Staffing, Recruiting, Onboarding & HR Operations – 30%; HR Information Systems, Reporting & Analytics – 30%; Employee Relations, Performance Management & Compliance – 15%; Talent Acquisition Strategy – 15%; Special Projects – 10%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the HR Operations leader and trusted advisor to the management team, providing guidance and strategic counsel on all matters impacting talent, performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with business leaders to design and maintain organizational structures that align resources, people, and processes with business goals. Lead initiatives in workforce planning, succession management, and organizational design.
  • Direct and continually improve large-scale staffing programs for game day and stadium operations talent, ensuring best-in-class execution of recruiting, onboarding, and employee experience for thousands of seasonal and part-time team members.
  • Manage HRIS platforms, analytics, and vendor relationships to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making across HR programs.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT to ensure HR systems, payroll processes, and reporting capabilities operate effectively and securely.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years’ progressive HR leadership experience across multiple functions (staffing, HRIS, employee relations, operations).
  • At least 5 years in a high-volume staffing or recruitment environment, ideally in hospitality, sports & entertainment, retail, or large-scale event operations.
  • Proven success leading multi-site HR teams and managing through influence in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR systems (preferably Workday) and digital recruitment tools (e.g., HireVue).
  • Background in process improvement, Six Sigma, or project management (PMP) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
