POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Global Mobility Specialist is a highly organized and proactive key member of this organization. This person will be responsible for the logistical planning, relocation, and integration of international teachers by providing guidance on their immigration and visas, arranging housing, facilitating transportation, and ongoing support for successful assimilation into their company and community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the team and hiring managers to assess needs and identify timeline for incoming individuals.
  • Manage the entire relocation process for international teachers, from cradle to grave, including facilitating visa applications.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the relocation process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the visa and immigration process, including gathering and submitting required documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work with vendors and real estate agents to identify suitable housing options.
  • Provide support with transportation, including arranging airport transfers, facilitating the purchase of transportation passes, and coordinating shuttle services.
  • Facilitate orientation programs and training for international teachers covering topics such as cultural acclimation, healthcare and education.
  • Ensure ongoing support for by providing access to language training, cultural resources, and support networks.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the relocation process, including visa applications, housing arrangements, and transportation services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in domestic or international mobility, travel agency, or HR related field.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration laws and regulations are advantageous.
  • Ability to manage complex logistics and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with additional systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
