ROLE OVERVIEW
The Financial Advisor plays a critical role within a well-established, fiduciary-focused wealth management office in Kennesaw, Georgia. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning, managing ongoing client relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor to individuals and families with increasingly complex financial needs. Operating in a collaborative, in-office environment, the advisor partners closely with internal planning, tax, estate, insurance, and client service teams to provide integrated, high-quality advice. The role includes responsibility for a combination of transitioned client relationships and new client engagement over time, with success driven by trust, follow-through, and disciplined execution rather than transactional sales activity. The ideal candidate is an experienced, relationship-driven Financial Advisor with strong planning depth, professional maturity, and the ability to own client relationships end-to-end in a high-accountability office culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery meetings and manage ongoing advisory relationships from onboarding through long-term planning.
- Develop, present, and implement comprehensive financial plans incorporating investment strategy, tax planning, estate considerations, and insurance solutions.
- Assume responsibility for a group of existing client relationships over time, ensuring a high-touch, fiduciary client experience.
- Engage new client opportunities through internal referrals and organic relationship development.
- Partner closely with internal planning, tax, estate, insurance, and client service teams to deliver holistic advice.
- Maintain accurate documentation, task management, and follow-up discipline within CRM systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, service partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a consistent in-office presence and contribute positively to a collaborative, team-oriented office environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of client-facing financial planning or wealth management experience.
- CFP® or ChFC® designation required.
- Series 65 or 66 required or ability to obtain promptly.
- Demonstrated experience leading client meetings and delivering comprehensive financial plans independently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Professional judgment and maturity when managing complex client situations.
- Comfort operating in a collaborative, in-office advisory environment.
- A portable book of business is welcomed but not required.
